Description

Spring 2026 brings us an update to Budd’s iconic house stripe. This new edition is rendered in deep burgundy with our subtly anchoring black hairline stripe and crisp white satin twill interstripe. Rich in tone yet understated in character, it pairs effortlessly with navy and grey tailoring, but will also sit easily alongside shades of brown, khaki, beige or tweeds. Cut here in our tailored fit, with a semi-spread Bank collar and button cuff. This is a versatile shirt that will transcend easily from smart to casual.

Accessorise with one of our classic grenadine, knit, or small geometric print madder silk ties.

Our Workshop

We make our bespoke and made to measure shirts at our workshop in Andover, under the guidance of Di Bainbridge and Gwenda Witts. They joined the company in 1969 and 1976 respectively and oversee the team as they produce our shirts, dress shirts and nightwear. Their approach is fastidious and reassuring, particularly when sat at our finishing boards where they inspect each shirt before it is pressed and packed up.
