What is Made to Measure?

Made to Measure is also referred to as custom or personalized tailoring.

Shirts start from an existing block pattern but are customized to your body measurements and preferences. The service sits between our ready to wear and bespoke shirts. Customers select their choice of cloth from an extensive range of patterns and qualities, before selecting  their fit, collar, cuff and placket styles, as well as adding any other pertinent details such as collar size and sleeve length and monogramming.

All of Budd’s made to measure shirts are individually hand-cut at our English workroom by a dedicated cutter. They are then sewn together using the same techniques and attention to detail as we apply to our bespoke shirts. Each shirt is hand-machined with single needle stitching and the collar hand-turned. Once constructed, each shirt is fully checked over before being hand-pressed, packed and delivered.

Please note: There is no minimum order on Made to Measure shirts. We usually allow 4-6 week turnaround time on bespoke orders. Prices start at £295.
