Bespoke Cloths

A high quality shirting will ensure that your shirt washes, wears and irons perfectly over the years, holding up well throughout the day. We appreciate how cloth softens and ages over time, telling its own story and earning its place as a wardrobe favourite.

Budd has exceptional relationships with Europe’s greatest shirting mills and our cutters and sales team have an in-depth knowledge of their offerings. We carry cloth bunches from Loro Piana, Solbiati, Alumo and Thomas Mason to name but a few. We also commission our own exclusive shirtings, including our iconic Budd stripes and special collaborative weaves, such as those created with WM Brown.

Our cutters will advise on best cloth options, flagging some of their favourites as they go. Little time passes in our cutting room without their shears gliding through a lustrous and luxurious Soyella shirting, a silky Sea Island cotton, the grace of an English spun silk or a simple crisp poplin. Whatever your taste or needs, we will recommend or source the perfect option.
